If you are working with the game of blackjack then you have to take into account all the aids there are to help you. The first one of course is the basic strategy chart. This is going to tremendously help your odds of a win when you are working with the game and you should never skimp over it. Once you get a handle on the strategy chart though, you get to move onto other strategies to help you gaming. One great tool to use is the art of card counting. It is called an art though because there definitely is a skill to it. You want to work with it to come up with a better shot at winning when you are going up against the dealer at the table. Learning how to count cards is going to be a huge advantage to you but it also is going to take some time to get. You want to start off slowly. Remember that the skill is going to have to be perfected, but then taken to a busy and noisy casino gaming floor. This is where a lot of people get tripped up.
